About KaMabia

Morocco was never something we discovered. It was something we knew.

KaMabia was created from a relationship with Morocco built over years rather than from a catalogue of places. What follows is that story, told through the people who shape it and the country that continues to inform every journey we design.

Our Beginning

It Began With Morocco

KaMabia began before it had a name, in the medina of Fes, where Mohammed Al Bouhli was born and raised. Travellers walked the same streets he grew up in. The guides and drivers were neighbours. The artisans were simply part of the block. From around the age of twelve, he began talking to the visitors passing through, then listening to the people who knew Morocco best, then travelling with them himself, until Fes became the Atlas, the desert, the coast, and Morocco became something he understood from the inside rather than something explained to him from outside.

Experience

Years Behind the Journey

What began as curiosity became a life spent in hospitality: cafés and riads first, then international hospitality at a considerably larger scale. The setting changed. The instinct behind it didn't: understanding what a person actually needs, often before they've said it. By the time KaMabia took shape, the relationships it draws on already existed. They weren't sourced for a business plan. They were simply the people Mohammed had known, worked alongside and travelled with for years.

Our Approach

We Begin With the Person, Not the Itinerary

Every journey begins with listening. Dates and destinations matter, but so do pace, curiosity, privacy and the moments a traveller wants to leave unscripted.

KaMabia shapes the route around the person travelling rather than asking the traveller to fit a pre-built itinerary.

The People

A Country Known Through People

Morocco reveals itself differently when the right people are part of the journey. Drivers, guides, hosts, artisans, cooks and local specialists each hold a different piece of the country.

The relationships behind KaMabia are what allow a journey to move beyond observation and into genuine context.

Our Idea of Luxury

Luxury Without Performance

For KaMabia, luxury is not excess added to a journey. It is the absence of friction. The right room. The right person waiting. Enough time. Privacy when it matters. And the freedom to change course when Morocco offers something better than the plan.

Behind KaMabia

The People Behind the Journey

Every journey is shaped by people — those who design it, those who guide it, and those who quietly make each transition work.
